Abstract

Play therapy typically requires the use of a play therapy room equipped with a wide variety of physical materials. Augmented reality (AR) offers a unique opportunity to provide children and adolescents with virtual playrooms with which they can interact. The objective of this chapter is to provide an overview of the use of AR-based playrooms in teletherapy intervention.
