Abstract
The Virtual-mail system designed to be used in the CAVE virtual environment was evaluated by conducting a qualitative user test where two people collaborate asynchronously. One person designs a virtual museum while the other implements the design. Preliminary results suggest that v-mail can have a significant impact in bridging time-zone differences.
