Abstract
Authors have constructed, and evaluated the properties of, a very thin ring electrode (VTRE). The inner radius of the ring electrode is r//i and the outer radius is r//o. This electrode's geometry corresponds to a conducting ring in the surface of an insulating plane in which the ring width, DELTA r equals r//o-r//i, is about 10** minus **4cm and DELTA r is very much smaller than r//i (r//i equals 0. 4 cm). Current-time curves at constant potential and current-potential curves were obtained at the stationary VTRE and the rotating VTRE.
