Abstract

An overview is given on ultrafast all-optical probe and complementary optical-pump terahertz probe measurements. It is shown that these measurements are suggestive of mixed-phase dynamics in the nominally ferromagnetic metal state of colossal magnetoresistive La0:7Ca0:3MnO3 thin films.
