Abstract

In this study, two-photon excitation (TPE) under a microscope was employed to obtain the spectrum of chloroplast. It was found that the protoplasts from Arabidopsis thaliana may exhibit different fluorescence spectra depending on whether chloroplast exist in the cells. Further, it was observed that the fluorescence spectrum from the chloroplast is a time-dependent function of exposure.
