Two phase flows in granular materials: Particle-particle and particle-fluid interaction

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The interaction of grains and a fluid has long been a source of interesting phenomenon. Yet in spite of significant scientific attention, our understanding of basic issues like flow stability, bubble formation, and wave propagation remains at a primitive level. This note raises some particle-fluid flow questions in the context of vibrofluidized beds.
