title = "Towards a Longitudinal, Qualitative Study of Computational Identity in K-12 Computer Science Education",
abstract = "Broadening and deepening participation in computing requires a richer understanding of the impacts of K-12 CS education on learners' lives and identities. We propose that qualitative, longitudinal research can contribute to this understanding and help produce better CS learning experiences. This poster presents our proposed methodology for conducting such a study along with pilot results. Our findings create space for discussion about these methods and the nuance they can provide in understanding computational identity.",
