Abstract

Neurodivergent students can thrive in undergraduate Computer Science programs with support, but research on effective learning and teaching practices is limited. The neurodiversity movement advocates an approach to research and design that examines social (i.e., external) barriers to student success and seeks to remove or mitigate them. We suggest that this research must begin with productive measures of student success. This poster presents a survey instrument to measure neurodivergent CS students' sense of belonging.
