Abstract
The thermodynamics of heterogeneous condensation on mixed nuclei in a multicomponent, vapor mixture were studied. Taking into account the possible presence of surfactants in the droplet, the strict derivation of the free energy of formation of a droplet in the finite-difference and differential-integral versions of the capillarity approximations was considered. The resultant data were analyzed in detail.
