Abstract
This chapter presents the new development in the area of thermoacoustic energy harvesting whereby the output electric transducer of a conventional thermoacoustic harvester is coupled with an elastic structure in the form of a simple spring-mass system to amplify the deflection and strain experienced by the electric transducer in order to amplify the harnessed output power.
