Abstract
This paper presented a group approach to the psychological rehabilitation of spinal cord injured patients. A rationale linking it to occupational therapy was also given. While no statistical data is at present available concerning the success of this program, it appears from observational data that it is assisting in the total rehabilitation of the patients. The approach should be applicable to any hospital situation involving longterm, severely disabled patients.
