Abstract
The Pavilion is the headquarters of the Saga Group and sits on the cliffs of Dover, overlooking the English Channel. The building's most prominent feature is a tensioned fabric roof, an arched 46ft-high membrane supported by tubular steel arches. The architect was Michael Hopkins Parkers and the engineers Ove Arup. The fabric used was PTFE-coated fiberglass.
