Abstract
The requirements for the production of isopotential points on the ring electrode of a rotting ring-disk electrode are discussed. Ring electrode isopotential points can occur along with disk electrode isopotential points, and the relationship between these points is presented. Conditions under which only ring electrode isopotential points, or disk electrode isopotential points, occur are also treated. Experimental examples of several cases are given.
