Abstract
A novel air sterilization technology has been developed that employs compressive heating of a continuous air stream to destroy airborne biological pathogens, demonstrating a kill effectiveness of >99.9999%. The device, referred to as the BioBlower, has the capability to protect against all biological pathogens such as bacterial spores and viruses and can be used for hospital rooms, commercial buildings, portable shelters, homes and vehicles.
