Abstract

The collection of effluent from fractionation procedures on a moving tape is proposed as a means of continuous analysis. Two systems are described for collecting and washing radioactively labeled macromolecules after zonal centrifugation, and results are presented to demonstrate their effectiveness. Other potential applications are outlined.
