Abstract
The coordination chemistry of Ph3PO with Mo(V) and (VI) complexes is relatively unexplored, especially in terms of the reactivity of the known compounds [MoVOCl3(OPPh3)2] (1) and [MoVIO2Cl2(OPPh3)2] (2) for imido complexes. Therefore, in this study, we synthesized and characterized the novel molybdenum imido complexes MoV(NAr)Cl3(OPPh3)2 (3), MoVI(NAr)2Cl2(OPPh3)2 (4), and MoVI(NAr)OCl2(OPPh3)2 (5) (where Ar = 2,6-diisopropylaniline). Their x-ray structures and bench-stability are discussed.
