Abstract
The chemical synthesis of β-D-Gal-(1→3)-6-O-SO3Na-β-D-GlcNAc-(1→6)-α-D-Man-O-C6H4NO2 (1) and β-D-Gal-(1→3)-6-O-SO3Na-β-D-GlcNAc-(1→2)-α-D-Man-OMe (2) is reported using a key glycosyl donor, phenyl O-(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-galactopyranosyl)-(1→3)-4,6-di-O-chloroacetyl-2-deoxy-2-phthalimido-1-thio-β-D-glucopyranoside (3).
