Abstract
Visceral artery aneurysms are unusual lesions. However the frequency of diagnosis has increased in recent years as a result of increased utilization of arteriogram and computed tomographic (CT) scan. When diagnosed in conjunction with other syndromes, alternative treatment options can be utilized. The present case discusses a 67-year-old black male who presented with a right renal mass and a celiac artery aneurysm. The renal mass was diagnosed as an oncocytoma. This unique anatomy enabled us to perform a right nephrectomy in conjunction with a celiac artery aneurysmectomy with primary anastomosis between the right renal artery and common hepatic artery. This case demonstrates our approach to an unusual problem.
