Abstract
Angle-dependent ESCA and ATR-FTIR results are presented for homopolymer blends of poly (methyl methacrylate) and poly (vinyl chloride). Blends over the entire composition range were cast from tetrahydrofuran (THF) and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Surface enrichment of PMMA was present at all compositions of blends cast from THF, while blends cast from MEK exhibited surface compositions that were within error limits equivalent to the bulk compositions of the blends.
