Abstract
The structure of a new heterocyclic ring system, 2,3,7,8-tetrahydro-5H,10H-[1,5,3]dioxazepino[3,2-c]-indolo[3,2-g]pteridin-7-one, derived from isatins and 5-aminocylidine was assigned by establishing the regiochemistry with the aid of model reactions and 13C nmr techniques.
