Abstract

Carotid artery stenting is a crucial aspect in the armamentarium needed for comprehensive management of steno-occlusive carotid artery disease. Understanding the principles for patient selection, intraprocedural implications, and the various technical nuances is helpful in successful treatment. Here we present an analysis of these key factors in the endovascular treatment of carotid stenosis.
