Abstract
Two patients with extensive small cell lung cancer developed unilateral, spontaneous pneumothoraces while receiving chemotherapy. Both pneumothoraces were asymptomatic, required no special procedure, and resolved with continued chemotherapy. Development of spontaneous pneumothorax during chemotherapy in patients with known small cell lung cancer may represent a response to treatment.
