Spin-based quantum computation in multielectron quantum dots

Abstract

The relationship between the quantum computer hardware and software due to the quantum Hamiltonian was analyzed, considering the electron-spin-based solid-state quantum computer in semiconductor quantum dots (QD). Quantum computation with fermionic spins was considered to be a potentially promising prospect for solid-state quantum computers. However, it was decided that quantum computation, in contrast to regular digital Boolean classical computation, is analog and the algorithms were defined by the system Hamiltonian.
