Abstract

Represents an attempt to reformulate the spatial economics of consumer behavior. It is apparent that alternative approaches to explain consumer choice of destinations for the journey-to-shop are needed. Develops a theory of consumer demand which includes components of the textbook formulation of the static theory of demand, based on utility maximisation subject to a budget constraint.-after Authors
