title = "Single Wire Resonant Power Transfer in Varying Metallic Environments",
abstract = "This article focuses on the power and efficiency performance of a semi-open receiver coil fed with single wire. This also highlights wireless power transfer mechanism through single wire and introduces suitable transmitter to achieve power transmission through one wire. The single-wire receiver coil is excited with a pure sinusoidal wave at 1650 kHz. The power and efficiency performance has been discussed in relation to the metallic enclosure. It has been observed that 12 times higher power is obtained when the coil is placed outside the metallic enclosure as compared to when it is placed inside that enclosure. Similarly, the efficiency is 46\% when the coil is placed over the conductive surface.",
