Abstract
In this position paper, we introduce the concept of earthly AI and argue for the development of a principled methodology to advance and scale research in this area within the context of higher education. To illustrate the potential of this approach, we present two concrete use cases, the Creative Experiential Learning Advisor (CELA) and AI for Exceptional Education, to demonstrate how earthly AI can be implemented in a scalable and impactful manner.
