Abstract

Retraction to:Nature Communicationshttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-024-50838-4, published online 07 August 2024 The authors have retracted this article. After publication, an error in the calculation of the reported critical current densities was identified. A mistake in the conversion of magnetization units lead to an error in the calculation of the reported critical current densities, Jc,mag. The results and conclusions presented are therefore inaccurate. The authors were first alerted to the issue by EF Talantsev and JL Tallon1 and provide further discussion on the nature of the error in2. In addition, the article also contained the following errors which are listed here for completeness: On page 2 of the main article, third paragraph, the sentence “A plot of magnetization versus temperature….” should have read “A plot of moment versus temperature….”. On page 4, second paragraph, the last line should have read “…microstrain was estimated to be 0.201%.” This is the microstrain shown in the slope of the curve in Fig. 3c. On page 4, second paragraph, right column, third line from bottom should have read “…microstrain was estimated to be 0.266%.” This is the microstrain shown in the slope of the curve in Fig. 4c. The areal density of BZO nanorods was incorrectly estimated using Fig. S13. The correct areal density of the BZO nanorods is 2.33 ×1011/cm2. On page 10, last paragraph, the first line “The M-T measurements were….” should have read “The m-T measurements were….”. In the Source Data, the title of Figs S1(a) and S1(b) should have been YGBCO+2vol%BZO. On page 2 of the main article, third paragraph, the sentence “A plot of magnetization versus temperature….” should have read “A plot of moment versus temperature….”.
