Abstract
Relational aggression has increasingly been examined as an aggression construct. This entry reviews its definition, related constructs, and historical and intellectual context as well as the role of gender and relational aggression's developmental manifestations and trajectories. In addition, it discusses the changing methodology and role of theory with an eye toward future developmental research. Finally, it introduces promising interventions and future directions.
