Abstract

The induction of the cytochrome-P-450-dependent monooxygenase system is one of the most sensitive responses associated with exposure to 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (2,3,7,8-TCDD). The object of this study was to investigate the induction of the hepatic monooxygenase system over a wide range of doses of 2,3,7,8-TCDD, including those associated with acute toxicity.
