N2 - Many space situational awareness techniques capitalize on photometric data of space objects, often obtained by generating light curves from an object’s observed apparent magnitude over time. Simulating this data requires highly accurate 3D models of space objects. However, creating these models typically demands significant expertise with modeling software such as Blender, an open-source 3D modeling and animation tool. To address this challenge, a specialized add-on is introduced to streamline the modeling process while ensuring compatibility with the intended simulation environment. This tool reduces both the time and effort required for model generation while minimizing the risk of errors, ultimately enhancing the accuracy and reliability of space object light curves and representations.
