PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN DISCRETE-TIME STRUCTURAL CONTROL.

Abstract

Time delay and output feedback are incorporated into active structural control through discrete time formulation. It is shown that time delay can be accounted for in a straightforward fashion using a discrete time system model. Furthermore, a one-step observer is developed so that the number of sensors can be reduced by half. The results are illustrated by a numerical example.
