Abstract

The underpotential deposition of lead and silver on gold was studied in acetonitrile as a solvent. The rde, the rrde and the quartz crystal microbalance techniques were used. Satisfactory agreement for the coverage values as a function of underpotential were obtained among the rotating electrode and the quartz crystal balance methods.
