Abstract

Photoluminescence has emerged as a fruitful technique for the study of energy levels of both electrons and holes in modulation-doped GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures. In this work, we have continued our studies of multiple quantum well (MQW) samples in magnetic fields, in an attempt to elucidate the origin of anomalies in the luminescence spectra, concentrating on the effects of lattice temperature and exciting photon energy. We present two contrasting sets of data.
