Abstract
Based upon compartment models, the effect of random variations in the rate constants on the optimal drug dosage control is considered. An expected relative sensitivity function of control is defined and, using the notion of Kronecker products, it is shown that a direct evaluation of the sensitivity function is possible in terms of the statistics of the rate constants.
