Overcoming Frustration: Grind My Gears, Butter My Bread

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

In this chapter, Dr. Algattas discusses how to overcome frustration in neurosurgery. Frustrations are learning opportunities and chances for growth disguised as short-term challenges. When frustration is overwhelming, look to the support of co-residents who can relate. Residency is inevitably frustrating, but suffering is optional and related to state of mind.
