Abstract

A novel remote transducer telemetry system utilizing optical link for electrical isolation and EMI immunity has been developed. The system is capable of interfacing resistance, capacitance, and voltage type sensors. Descriptions of each module making up the system are detailed. Experimental result shows that the system accuracy of 1 percent is achieved. Extension to a multisensors network system is presented.
