On the validity of the non-relativistic approximation in discussing binding by long-range potentials

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The validity of the non-relativistic approximation in describing binding by long-range potentials is discussed. We show that for a long-range Yukawa potential the question whether the problem is relativistic or not depends very much on the magnitude of the coupling constant.
