Abstract

Issues related to a published debate concerning the simulation and mapping of physical clusters in small cells were resolved. The method involved simulation with probability that a cluster would be found in a small subvolume of a macrovolume. This probability was used in the evaluation of the equilibrium number of clusters in the macrosystem. The accuracy of the method was high under certain conditions, regardless of the approximation. Some of the approximations were found to affect the fundamental basis of statistical mechanics.
