Abstract
The present paper reports on the progress made on the development of a unique numerical modeling and simulation of an advanced unducted propulsion concept for extracting kinetic energy contained in random and turbulent fluid particle movements. The numerical analysis, validated by experimental study, has demonstrated that, using this advanced concept, a high percentage of available kinetic energy from multi-directional fluid movements can be efficiently captured.
