title = "Novel polymer membrane process for pre-combustion CO2 capture from coal-fired syngas",
abstract = "Novel high-temperature-stable polymer membranes with H2/CO2 selectivities of > 10 and hydrogen permeances of > 200 gpu at synthesis gas cleanup temperatures of 100°-200°C are presented. These membranes can be used in an efficient membrane process that will capture > 90\% of CO2 in post-shift synthesis gas and generate a hydrogen stream with > 93\% purity at low cost. Results from a recent field test treating real coal-derived synthesis gas are also presented. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the AIChE 2010 Spring National Meeting (San Antonio, TX 3/21-25/2010).",
