title = "Novel many-body state in quantum wires near pinch-off",
abstract = "We observe novel behavior in the non-linear conductance of semiconductor quantum wires near pinch-off. In this regime, their low-temperature (<1K) differential conductance increases dramatically from zero to a value above 2e2/h. This enhancement depends strongly on temperature, in-plane magnetic field, and wire length. Our results suggest that this resonance is related to the formation of a novel many-body state in the quantum wires near pinch-off.",
