Abstract
It is shown that the amplitude for the scattering of a particle from an arbitrary number of fixed N particles in the Lee model can be obtained from Watson's multiple scattering theory if the elementary interaction is taken to be the full -N T matrix, including the V-particle pole, and the propagator is taken to be a free particle propagator.
