Abstract

Moraxella catarrhalis has again been recognized as a significant pathogen. The past decade has witnessed an increased amount of research and understanding of the pathogenesis of the organism. This review will summarize the research pertaining to the epidemiology and components of pathogenesis in M. catarrhalis. (C) 2000 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
