Abstract

This chapter focuses on the possible uses for metabolites of xenobiotic chemicals and endogenous metabolites as biomarkers of exposure to xenobiotic chemicals. The discussion on metabolites of xenobiotic chemicals considers animals only, while that on endogenous metabolites includes both animals and plants.
