Abstract

A new method for the measurement of the size distribution function of anisomeric aerosols is developed. Both the rotational diffusion coefficient and length ratio were determined by the decay of the change in the intensity of the scattered light in a small forward angle with respect to time after removing the electrical field which was applied to the aerosol flow in the scattering volume. This method works well for not only fiber but also disk like aerosols.
