Abstract
We report the successful management of severe, intractable low back pain in a 21-year-old female with an ependymoma of the cauda equina using intermittent intrathecal methylprednisolone (20 mg), bupivacaine (2.5 mg) and morphine (1 mg) injections over a 2-year period.
