Abstract

The paper surveys previous theoretical results and extends them to include the measurement of two point velocity correlations as well as the effect of a three dimensional scattering volume. An operational Laser -Doppler velocimeter is descsribed and measurements in both laminar and turbulent flow are presented. (from paper)
