Abstract
The architecture program at the University of Michigan recently ran an innovative class on the use of glass and fabric in lightweight structures. Students from the graduate program in architecture and planning worked together with an international team of engineers, designers and architects. The semester-long experimental course ran during the 1998-9 academic year.
