N2 - A program addressing a global challenge in computer and ICT education for youth, was developed in rural Western India. Based on Culturally Relevant Computing (CRC) theories, the program emphasizes cultural relevance and tackles issues faced by rural students, such as limited internet access. Using the framework of a research-practice partnership, 20, 8th and 9th-grade students were recruited for the program. The program design objectives focused on critical thinking, collaboration, and technological understanding. Students selected topics, conducted research, interviewed community members, and authored articles that were published online. Through critical thinking, collaboration, and awareness of social justice in technology, the program aims to empower rural communities by supporting students to explore technologies for enhanced everyday living.
