Abstract

This paper presents the formal definition of fuzzy rule and fuzzy fact, introduces the process of uncertainty reasoning and passing based on the fuzzy rule. In the design of reasoning machine based on the fuzzy rule, an approach using object-oriented method is proposed. Fuzzy product rule and fact are regarded as objects in this paper. They are operated by methods defined in the reasoning machine. Fuzzy matrix is introduced to represent fuzzy product rule. An uncertainty reasoning algorithm based on the fuzzy rule is presented and implemented in the design of reasoning machine.
